A try to fly I

A try to fly I – optical glass – H – 45 cm.

Every bit of this work is both dynamic and static. Statics is caused by the geometry of the forms that are seemingly simple but actually are articulated in themselves to allow light to go through them and in this way to allow the passage of volumes beyond the visible form. Dynamics is also generated by light, any part of the form races in bursts of reflections, internal and external reflections, reciprocal links that belong to the work or are reflected. This work does not have any expressed front. It was designed to be balanced not only by itself, as its own volume, but to obtain a balance from the illusion created by its own light and shadow.
